Simple & Natural Cleaning Supplies

Monday, February 01, 2016

A lot of the home products my husband and I use are natural and cruelty free. The initial investment can be a bit pricey, but we've found some ways to keep our costs down by making our own home supplies when we're able to do so.
And even better, you most likely already have the ingredients at home!

All Purpose Spray
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp dish soap (I prefer Seventh Generation as the smell isn't overwhelming/fake smelling)
4 TBSP white vinegar
400 mL water (seems to work best if it is slightly warm)
Shake mixture well, put in a squirt bottle for easy use.

Glass Cleaner
1/4 c rubbing alcohol
1/4 c white vinegar
1 TBSP corn starch
2 c warm water
Shake mixture well.

Fabric Refresher
1c rubbing alcohol
1 c distilled white vinegar
15-25 drops of your favorite essential oil.

Please keep in mind that your individual preferences may differ a bit than mine. These are the amounts that work well for me, feel free to experiment a bit to get a product that you love!

Simply Yours,

A. Leah
