Monday, July 18, 2016Some benefits to keeping organized lists:
-Helps organize information overload
-Can help calm anxiety
-Helps keeps you on track with goals
-Allows visual learners to see what has to be done
-Can make it easier to process goals
-Helps figure out all of the options
Tips to help you with your list keeping:
-Start small and work your way up. If you put too much on a list, you may feel overwhelmed and avoid the list completely
-Set a time to work on your list. For example, I work my my daily list at 9:30 pm every night for 10-15 minutes
-Try to make your list making a daily routine
-Either carry your notebook with you, or leave it out so you will think of it
-If you wan to go paperless, your phone will probably have some apps that can benefit you

ReplyDeleteAnd I am a list maker too. I keep a legal pad for daily lists and a notebook for more important "over time" lists, like funny things the kids say or things I hope to accomplish by a certain age etc.
