Recognizing Your Everyday Magic

Monday, May 15, 2017

Everyday magic isn't necessarily a big moment. I tend to view everyday magic consists of life's little moments that just seem to work out for you. Somehow the situation goes your way, or it has a positive effect on you. I've noticed that since I've been recognizing my everyday magic, it's had a positive impact on my life. I've found that I've come to appreciate the small things in life.

Here are some of my life's everyday magic:

-When an idea of mine turns into something tangible
-A good night's sleep (I'm an insomniac, so this is especially amazing)
-Crossing things off my list
-When everything just seems to go my way
-When I get a creative idea
-The smell of fresh cut grass
-The smell of the seasons
-The feeling I get when I finish a project
-A hug from someone I miss
-Opening up snail mail
-The sound of rain
-When a stranger smiles back at me (This is definitely a Midwestern thing!)
-When I run around looking for one of my journals because I have had inspiration and need to write it down quickly
